I found my SRT coupe with 2300 miles on it for $22k. I've been happy ever since. A convertible with less than 1000 miles would be awesome and I would buy it for under $25k. Only because that is a very rare find indeed. Good luck!

For me, it was worth the extra $10K it to be driving the car for more than 2
years before you bought yours. I was toolin' while so many were droolin'.

Not trying to pick at you. You got a great deal (in my estimation) when you
bought in 2007, and I'd have waited if I hadn't fallen into an extra $11K,
which allowed me to purchase when I did. Every Crossfire owner, and
every SRT-6 owner, in my mind, got a great deal for such an awesome car,
no matter if you paid full sticker or not.

Of course, on the used end... could the deals get any better? I think
not. Bang for Buck, a SRT-6 roadster with 1K miles on the clock at $25K
really is a great price point.

They are firm at $ 32 - 33,000. That is just to high a price to pay even for that car. I will pass at that price and just continue to enjoy my coupe and roadster. Thanks for the input.

Well here downunder I bought my SRT Roadster in September 2010 and paid $45,000 with 13,000miles on the clock. Don't regret my decision for one second.

The Chrysler dealer had it listed for $63,000 orginally!!!

Wasn't attempting to offend, merely stating I was the original owner.
If I could have FOUND one in 2005, I would surely have bought one, but all that was around here at the time were limiteds and base .......

Neither was I offended, nor was I intending to be offensive. You have my
apology if it seemed that way. Not that it makes any real difference, as it
is water under the bridge, but there was the option of going to your local
Chrysler dealer and placing an order. That was my original plan, as I
wanted one in Aero blue with the two-toned interior. But my wife and I
stopped by the Dealer so I could show her the model I'd been looking
at, and the owner came out and offered me $6K off sticker if I'd sign
papers that night. An hour and a half later, I drove the Graphite off the
showrroom floor.

Peace,

Coyote

Hawk,

If the car you are looking at is in Indiana (Kokomo - Ebay), then he will not budge. I saw the car, very nice but not 30k nice. He is a retired Chrysler Exec, told me sticker was 52K but he didn't pay close to that. He did contact me (again) to tempt me that someone, a collector, wanted his car so it will sell at the 32,995. and also a dealer in TX wanted it, really? Strange that the carfax shows 2 owners, but he states he bought new?

Keep looking, you will find one at the 20k price and just as nice.

Funny thing, he emailed me telling me that I could put 10% down (3,300.) to hold til Spring and then give him the remainder of the $33k. Can you believe this guy want's me to pay more (I know $5.00) then what he is asking on Ebay and he states "make offer" but told me he won't go less or he has not taken less. The nerve??

Not good vibes, just my 2 cents.

T.

That is the car. I would have loved to have had it in the collection but when someone gives me you have to buy now because someone else is interested I just walk away. Regardless of my desire to have the car. Typical car salesmen BS. THIS IS NOT MY FIRST RODEO. I'll find another. Perhaps you guys can be on the lookout for me also.

I live just down the road from Kokomo and know many of the workers from there if I can be of any help. Let me know. I love to car deal. I will see just how serious he is, and who he is.

OH, and I take my two to their factory car show every summer, and haven't seen this car there. Many Dodge and Chrysler muscle cars, but no XF's

He is a quiet kinda guy, comes off as if he wants to be fair but then you end up working wat too hard on someone that won't budge. He wanted to work with me at first and asked if I could come up with comparable cars so he could work a fair deal. I did this for 2 days, sent him a number of cars/listings and all he could say was thanks and he would take $33k. I did not want to waste anymore time on him and I suggest you don't either. He left Chrysler 5+ yrs ago? and didn't not seem that he left on good terms so the discussion on that front ended quick. Maybe the reason you have not seen him? HE did say he was the #2 guy incharge at the Kokomo plant (production) so he did get the car pretty cheap to start, I know had a grandmother work for GM 45+ years and with that time you could get anything for cheap.

Come on Guys Stop devaluing our cars!!! I bought mine new and paid just under sticker and if I ever sell it I will take a huge hit!!!
Mind you I bought it to drive and it’s no trailer queen but dang….
We need the trend to start turning upwards. Personally I’d like to see all the N/A cars in the $22-25k and the SRT’s starting around $30k and up.

If the value drops any lower, I’ll have to park it, one small fender bender and the car will be totaled (lack of parts). Hell I’ll be lucky if I get enough $$$ from State farm to purchase a used Smart Car.

Sorry, didn't mean to come off like that. Isn't that what you just did in your statement though?

Don't make me come down there, you crazy cajun. I am a tightass and like to steal them when I can. More money for HP that way. Hope you are still kickin' *** with that wild ride. Yep, sounds like someone I should know if he truly was the second in command up there. When Fiat took over, they made some changes for sure. Many of the guys I know took a buyout about that time frame, still have a couple of guys working in management there, I am close with. But, sounds like you are moving on. I will keep my eye out for a good one. If it make you happy, I will take $35K for the coupe, $37.5 for the roadster. LOL

It's all good. Yes I do remember him saying he took a buyout.

I think pretty much like you do. If I were looking for one to put miles on, I would pay less. There is one advertised locally with 32,000 miles on it, and the guy was having difficulty getting $15,000 for it. I think that if you bought that car and spent a couple of thousand dollars on a good extended warranty, that would be a good deal. In my experience, older cars with extremely low mileage aren't always the best cars to buy. They can develop problems just from sitting unused. I have also found that they often suffer the same common problems that similar cars of the same vintage had while under warranty, but now the owner has to pay for the repairs out of pocket. How do I know this? I just sold a 2002 Chrysler Sebring Limited convertible that I bought 2 1/2 years ago with 8000 miles on it. I drove it 19,000 miles and spent several thousand dollars on repairs that would have been fixed for free in the first 3 years.

I'n not sure that I'd go as high as $24,000 for one with 1000 miles on it, but someone will. 33k? Forget it. Maybe 10 years from now at Barrett-Jackson.
