Default Wow I love this car

Another break in the weather so I took the SRT6 out tonight for a ride. Damn this is a great car. Glad I'm part of the SRT6 family.

I'm going through withdrawal here over the past few weeks. Too much snow and salt on the road currently.

Graphite gray is just about as cool as red.

Even though I have had mine 5 years now, it feels new every time I drive it. Permagrin is permanent LOL

Same here. During the past 7 or 8 days due to a snow and ice event I had been driving the chevy crew cab long bed. I drove the coupe yesteday and WOW! all over again. Man that car is fast. Being apart does make the heart grow fonder. LOL

Graphite Metallic is the best and fastest color. Makes a nice shadowy
blur as it goes by.

Had nearly a weeks worth of snow on the ground here north of Atlanta. It
was tough to leave the 6 behind and drive my old Jeep Comanche. But
the 6 is back on the road now and I'm happy again.

Let's just remember that the car's painted and built to withstand northern European winters, so with the proper wheel and tire selection, it can be driven anywhere in the lower 48, with all due respect.

True, but I have a beater Jeep to drive in the snow and salt. The magnesium chloride they use here starts to eat away after a few days. Plus my coupe is stuck in about 4" of snow and ice and it ain't getting out soon.

No offense Jesus C but

Northern Paint endurance doesn't hold up against idiots thinking their Escalade fourwheeler can handle any better than a two wheel drive car.

WE ALL HAVE FOUR WHEEL BRAKES!

The "idiot SUV-aunt" problem is a year round threat.

Car washes can take care of the deposit issue.

Blizzaks (with studs where allowed) can take care of most of the other problems.

Touche' but no amount of "naughty bits" ego deals well with the 4" ground clearance in 12" of snow.

I'll put the top down in 35F weather (got witnesses to prove it)
Serious snow down on the ground, I drive the "Salvage" titled Jeep.

I agree with Franc.. No go in anything over 3 to 4 inches of unplowed snow. your better off walking! and as for the salt, it destroys, quick!! I wish just a wash would take care of it.... it ruins everything!

The "snow" in SoCal doesn't bother the cars but can sure mess up your nose....

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't be such a wimp and buy some winter tires and drive it a bit.

Finally got to drive mine ("lowly" 04 limited) for the first time in over a week after travelling and returning to a nice pile of snow outside, and I can certainly testify to the power of the permagrin!

I worry about the mag chloride here in CO, but I've managed to wash pretty well (including undercarriage) every single weekend I've owned the car so far save one, so I figure it'll probably be okay. I didn't buy the car to let it sit, after all!
