How would someone like myself (never driven one) know if the super charger is working properly? I have driven the crossfire limited and I thought it was fast. I drive a turbo and you definently know when it boosts. But the super charger of the srt6 I wouldn't know. When I test drove the srt6 I just cruised around until the engine temp was normal, got on an interstate and gave it about 1/2 throttle and in a heartbeat it was at 80 mph.
Is it obiviuos to an unexperienced driver if it is or isn't working? If so how?

how true. Look. You have driven a limited. When the supercharger malfunctions, it usually will cut the power in and out, and you will get a bucking car as a result. When it is working properly, it will set you back, and take you to 80 with no effort at all. 1,2,3, should have you just over 100 mph in the 13 second range. That is a stock quarter mile.

 

Push the gas pedal all the way down until you click through the "magic" button. If everythings working, this'll put a smile on your face.
And you may be able to hear the supercharger whine a little.
