Is 70,000 Miles, To Many For A 1 Owner Srt6?
Found a SRT6 with 70,000 miles on it...but seems to be all highway miles from checking out the carfax on it. Lots of normal maintenance performed at dealerships. But for $12,500 wouldn't this still be a decent deal? These motors last a while, correct? Just curious to see f others think this is a good deal.

Care is everything. Remember, underneath the skin, it's all Benz.
Would you buy a 70,000 mile Benz if you could steal it?
$12,500 is a good price. Especially if the owner has not done any performance mods. Just do your due diligence.

Mine has over 96,000 miles on it, and still worth every penny of what
you are being asked for the one with 70,000 miles on the clock. 12K is a
great price.

We picked up a 2nd Crossfire, this one for my wife last August, an Aeroblue SRT with 76,000mi for $12,500 from a Chrysler dealer just so happened to be previously owned by a member here. Like Franc said these cars a pretty much a Benz so 70,000mi AMG powered car @ $12,500 good deal.

Then I'd get an independent MB mechanic to check the frame. Engines tend to be OK for the most part.
Mileage is a relative issue. Low mileage older cars can have undiscovered issues (still sorting out wife's 20+ year old Jag XJ-S with half as many miles). If the owner is an adult, and the car is high mileage, the issues should have been dealt with. If you can deal with the occasional scratch or wear mark you might be OK.
My roadster has 57k and no problems to date. The coupe has 60k and a few mods with no issues. If you take care of these AMG engines they will last. If you have good service records and the engine checks out I think $12500 is a great price.
70 k isn't a lot of miles for a 05 car. In some ways it's actually a normal sign. It means it wasn't broke all the time. What is does mean is it's been on the road, it's had 70 k miles of opportunity to be hit with stones, sand pebbles, car door bangs, sun, salt , rain, washing scratches, curb rashes on the wheels, wear and tear on the interior (seats/carpets), brakes, on and on. But it's $12k.
A 5k mile car is no way going to look as good as a 70K mile car and the price will reflect just that.
