Default Picture of strut/motor brace.

About a year and a half ago 240M3SRT was selling a strut/motor brace on here. Somebody bought it. I would like to request a picture of said brace if someone has it, I want to try to copy it. Thanks, Tuna.

I fabricated one using braded cable with plastic covering and tied down the driver motor mount, but cant find the photo showing it. It allose flex but cuts the motor from jumping on hard power applications. Woody

Yes, cool, saw your older post on that. I'm getting pretty damn good with the old Lincoln stick welder and thought that it would make a good first fab. project. If it sucks I'll just recycle/scrap it! I'm looking through his old posts now, but I seem to remember it was removed.

Chris, here is a dampener that I bought last year but haven't installed... mainly because I used the mounting point I had planned for installing the idler pulley for the NW pulley saver kit..... I also need to come up with a bracket to mount to the frame.....

That looks cool. Really I don't think I have a need for this yet, just looking for something to weld.

His idea was so simple yet perfect. I found his old thread on it but the pic is deleted. I think Infinite might have bought it.

Tuna, Are you talking about a brace that goes from strut to strut and ties into the supercharger?

Remember to give the engine some give so that you dont stress and crack parts due to the high stresses involved, you want to limit the motion , not stop it. Woody
