Default Debadging/replacement of SRT6 Badge

Hellos folks...so one of my 1st moves since getting my SRT6 this past weekend will be to debadge it...

I was just curious if folks have taken off the SRT6 badge and relocated it? Like down closer to the licence plate or by the front wheel??? Pics if you have em, I'm debating about relocating it, thanks!

I don't know that you are going to be able to do that. The badges are pretty much apart of the car's body lines, if you took them out to lower them, you'd have a "void Chrysler winged" gap where the original resides

I think he's only referring to the SRT6 badge underneath the 'CROSSFIRE' on the back.

Some people have them on the fenders. I've also seen one that removed the badge and replaced the wing with the standard model to make a sleeper.

The seats and alloys and the beautiful front would give it away

Yeah I think it's for cars coming up from behind. I know it was common for the SRT4 guys to remove all rear SRT items so people assumed they were a normal Neon until they tried to run them. The seats and front bumper would be subtle enough on the highway but the rims would be the dead giveaway if people knew what SRT6 rims look like.

I removed the xf letters, and left the SRT6 emblem where it was on the rear. I added an emblem to the front grille right side, and added an emblem to each rocker panel just below the strakes. If I could get the photos to load...I will show you....lol

The theory behind debadging is just that, "de".
The artists that place the emblems are also the ones that designed them.
They are better at this that the general masses.
Either leave it as it is or remove them all together.
Removing does make for a much cleaner rear and at the same time seems to add a bit of mystery to the origin or make of the car.
Just my 2 cents,
Mike

Hate to say it but most of the general population does not even know there is a AMG powered XF known as the SRT, and I would wager to guess that not too many outside of this forum would be able to correctly identify an NAs wheels from that of an SRT

I took OEM badges off and put better looking badges I found off of Ebay and from our site's Emblem provider Andrew. My exhaust tells all so no sleeper status for me, however most would never know what a rocket the crossfire is, until its too late.
