Farewell and goodnight...
I met up with the folks at the Central FL gtg this past weekend. We had an enjoyable meet & picnic. I did mention this might be the last gtg for me as I was going to be listing my SRT6 coupe for sale in the near future. We sell for so many reasons, but I can't complain, I met the girl of my dreams. I figured I better put a ring on her finger before someone else beats me to it!
Fortunately for me, a well-known and very active member (Kimpossible) asked me what I wanted for it. Well, later that night I was pleasantly surprised to receive a message saying she surely wanted the car.
Five days later (today), I said goodbye to Michele (SRT6) as Kim drove her away to her new home in Winter Park; a place I hear where she will be cared for and abused in only the most appropriate ways (cough…Dragon...cough).
It's been a pleasure meeting all through the forums over the last 3 years. The best car forum I've been a part of. Goodbye for now, but don't be surprised if I show up with another Xfire in the future!
Jeremy
P.S. Get home safe Kim, pleasure meeting you Chuck.
Out with the old...

In with the new! btw Chuck, that shirt represents one of the best albums ever.

Jeremy, you had taken such good care of your SRT6 the decision was very easy. The only down side to buying the car was that we won't have you on the forum for a little while.
Chuk drove the car to dinner & already has a serious case of perma-grin! I was on the phone driving in front of him & suggested he give her a little gas. Next thing I heard was a sc whine & "HOLY SH**"!!! I think he likes it.
Thank you so much for a great car & I promise to treat her right!!! She will get to visit the mild hills & turns of NC & TN!

So sorry to see you having to part with your SRT. Good luck and congrats on your future engagement! And Kim, wow, good luck and can't wait to see you with your new SRT6. I may have a challenge at the track now! LOL!

I met my wife while I owned the crossfire. I took it out on our first date. 2 years later we got engaged. I refused to sell my car. We paid for the wedding and I avoided selling the car. Scraped up every dollar to pay for the ring and wedding. Some how I was able to avoid selling the car. We just had our first baby. Still have the car. I told my wife owning the car was a condition of our marriage so she won't ask me to sell it. I will enjoy it and drive it for years... Hopefully my daughter will learn to drive in it.
Jeremy,
My best to you and your soon to be new bride.
You have made Kim and Chuck very happy and it's nice to know that the SRT stays in good hands here on the forum.

Jim - if gas prices are ok then both cars will be there! I was trying to convince Jeremy to come along with us even if he doesn't have an XF. We let a Mini hang with us so clearly anyone is welcome....
We just made it home a little while ago. The two girls look very pretty all snuggled up together.
I know Jeremy was really sad to see her go but she is going to have a good time here.
I am really excited to join the 2 XF club! And the SRT club! And the graphite club! What a day!!!!
Chuk will create his own log on shortly.

Congrats Kim! So was Chuk able to adjust the seat so he could sit comfortably, or are you going to be driving the SRT now?

It is a very good day for me but it is very sad that we are losing a great member in Jeremy. I really hope that he decides to buy another XF down the road. He is a true asset to our community & made it a priority that his SRT would go to someone who would appreciate her. The condition of this SRT shows the love of her owner. I know that if I ever decide to get rid of the SRT, my first call will be to Jeremy in case he is back in the market for one. It's getting harder & harder to find a low mileage, babied, garage queen of an SRT. I was VERY lucky & VERY thankful.
