Next time I am in FL I really would like to meet up with you guys! I'll rent an XF so I won't be left out... Where can I do this?

 

I doubt that you cab find a place that rents Crossfires. Here in the states, the vast majority of rental places only rent current year cars. There are a few places that rent used cars, but they are not plentiful, and finding a Crossfire at one would be unlikely. Not to say that one does not exist, but it would be an interesting search to find one. Give me a shout when you are in Florida, and I will try to come down and visit.

 

Let that poor boy outta the garage from time to time so he can get some sun!

I guess the rental places will concentrate as you say on current year models. Best bet is that I'll be driving the mustang. Absolutely, would be cool to see some cars and a true forum member irl. Would be cool to see the conversion car aswell.

Great job on Jim's SRT 55 Rudy. The engine fits like a glove. The acceleration is awesome. Soon Jim will be at the track with time slips having the fastest Crossfire in the USa...... world.

Hey, did I see that Ashley got in a wreck the other day? Hope she is ok....maybe you should help her find another SRT and get this swap

 

Not my Ashley. I drove her SRT up to see Rudy and Jim. My car is at the dealer, hopefully getting a new intercooler and manifold gaskets.

 

Whew! Well that is good to know. I saw this Ashley post up and noticed she was in FL and immediately thought it was your daughter. Anyways, back to V8s!!!!

 

Jim, just beat my 11.74 and then go after Vinny's E55 which I think his fastest is 11.1 at OSW.

 

got some getting use to on this car ,,with street tires it starts spinning them in 1 ,,still spinning shifts into ,2, still spinning shifts into 3 gear now the tires are still spinning ,,doing over 100mph it is almost like drifting, but going almost straight. ,, gota have drag radials all the time and slicks (not drag radials) at the track,,, let me tell you this thing is unreal,,,UNREAL,, jim

 

it will change your status to go to true slicks Jim...but, hey, you may need to, to hold that beast. It is capable to pull the front end....so, what will you have to "re-enforce" next? Only some track time will tell....good luck...can't wait for a video run....Randy, get your camera and get to the track...
