There's a guy with a SL55 on MBworld that's putting down 600rwhp and ran 10.8(with a 1.5 60') on the same rims/drag radials that I run on my 6...........Hoosier DRs 255/60 16. They aren't wrinkle wall tires but they sure do wrinkle when he launches.

Can't remember........just search for 10 second sl55. I talked to him a while back and he didn't even know what size spacer he was running. He's one of those guys that just hands over his car and a stack of hundreds and says "make it fast".

 

bummer i asked in a thread over there and was snubbed with zero replies. my big brakes wont clear the clk rims so i need spacers and hate to just buy at will without any idea how big to go. need the sweet spot that clears but stays inside the fenderwell

 

I would think 5 mm spacers would be all you would need...

 

Do you have any rim shops near you.........they usually have lots of different spacers.
