Talking Been working on the rear 4 hours and the wavetec is on ICE.

Yup, I been doing the garage thing and there is not enough motley crew to keep me at it . I got the rear out and pulled apart.

The phantom grip looks great, not like the other one I pulled apart. No metal chips, the main pin has not spun and the parts are smooth and clean looking, yeah. Get your self some synthetic oil for sure, it takes my racing and TESTING with no ill effects.

So the rear is on ICE for now, been doing the freezer thing to freeze the hubs and I have the bearings (that I HAD TO FIGHT OFF WITH A TIRED BEARING PULLER?????????????) soaking in peanut oil on the stove so I can heat them up to about 250 to assist the install of the bearings. Rawhide hammer at the ready, BUT first I will finish off the 2 liter diet coke first and rest, getting old. Cant do a thrash without sitting once and a while....W dy

yeah, the heat forced my mechanic to put me off until next weekend. I was ready today, but we shall see. If he puts me out another week, I will be looking for another shop. I want them done. I'm taking the front bumper cover off the the roadster to have it painted, and will install a johnson while it is at the painters, and clean the radiators.
