The rear has two big **** Jesus clips which are sombich to remove. Their installation should be as I did in my poor photo, to allow the splash oil to freely lube the side bearings, If you put the rings in otherwise it might the hole is partially blocked.
Just a bit of mechanick thinking for you that roll your own, just for your assistance. This is my photo of the rear seal being installed, I had just painted the RTV on the joint surfaces.

I used 14" needle nose pliers to finally get those stupid things out/in!
Important note: Ensure nothing is nearby that you don't want damaged. Several times they sprung while trying to install and I now have a chunk of drywall missing in the garage and a chunck of paint missing on one of my rocker panels...
I didn't know they had to be installed in a particular position though...
