Default Running Like Crap

Raced my car at the 1/4 mile on Friday and Autocross on Saturday then drove 60 miles home with no issue. Went out to move the car today and it is running like crap and throwing cells. A quick look under the hood and I notice the Throttle Body Spacer Gasket is ripped about 50% of the way around. Its a pain in the but to remove due to the fuel rail, I will get a replacement from the dealership on Monday.

Has anyone else noted this issue and is there a upgraded replacement part available? Thanks

I have replaced mine twice and haven't taken the fuel rail off..... I keep a spare gasket in the tool box...

They only cost about $8.00 at the Chrysler dealer....

The fuel rail on my car crosses right behind the lower drivers side T30 bolt of the spacer. No real issue, I got it off in a few minutes. Guess i'll get a spare when I get the replacement tomorrow. Thanks

Well it appears this part is hard to come by. My local Alabama dealership is getting one brought in, but it will take 5 days becuase it is coming from Milwauke. The Mercedes dealer stated 2 weeks from Germany. This is not the O-ring, but the mounting base for the throttle body that is screwed to the supercharger and the throttle body is then screwed to it.

Yeah, the MB dealers don't seem to keep this one in stock....the back end of the Crossfire SC is different than the SLK32/C32....they dont use this gasket....

I wonder which other MB does use it....

Edit: here is the Chrysler PN off the spare I have... 05159305AA. The MB PN given above is correct, A112 141 24 80.

Appritiaite the offer. According to Mercedes, the spacer used on the SLK is different then the one on the Crossfire. In case you make down this way again, I am located in Prattville just north of Montgomery. Thank you,

Steve, the SLK gasket wont work on the Crossfire. We have a rotational offset on the back of the SC and the gasket mounts to that and then the TB side changes the mounting to be horizontal... the SLK mounting is horizontal to start with.... I have two SLK line pipes(SC back end) if anyone needs one..
