cat delete
Finally got the cat delete done and the car sounds awesome already had the resonator deleted.I could feel a loss of torque but after a few days the midrange and topend is much stronger.Well now that I have no bottlenecks its time for a.SC pulley if the ever build one.

Also, i hope youre ready to dish out some dollars for a neat little sticker required by the state
Btw, they SC pulleys do exist.. Eurocharged and Needswings have some.. Theres 178, 181, 185 and CODE3 (which is unavailable unless you find a private seller)... Apparently someone is making another one (so ive heard and hope for..)
Well they are actually gutted to get around inspection.I was trapping almost 110 before now I have my 3inch y pipe intake and my cats gutted 111 or 112 seems possible at around a 12.7.I ran 13 flat spinning thru first gear without these mods.

I have done some exhaust cuts in the past, and the gain is highly dependent on your current exhaust. I have seen a consistent .2+ second shave, and as little as a 0 second shave... *the .2+ second shave was on a 7.5L 455 with a sound suppressor and a muffler.
All 4 cats or just the rears? My setup works nicely with my rear cats removed, resonator deleted along with the rest of my mods together. I think Eurocharged is working on a new 65 mm Code-3 pulley which I've seen in their latest newsletter. Good luck!
RANDOM NOTES: My car has no cats (Needswings downpipes) and I picked up over 20 hp with the cutouts open on the top end. (over 10 closed) I would guess I lost about 20 ft. lbs. of torque down low. The ECU adjusted over time and the car is much stronger on the top end. I passed emissions just last week. (no visual) The car was cleaner at 2500 than at idle. No codes thrown. The exhaust stinks now. For a daily driver I'd keep the primary cats. I'm trapping at 112.9 in the 1/4 mile. Just the facts according to me.

Of course, for me to be able to make this work effectively, I need to obtain a SRT-6 factory cat-back. Resonator delete is a no-brainer, but I do not want drone and I need the factory flange connectors since nobody around here carries any for a reasonable price. Hence the reason the SRT muffler will be utilised. The ANSA I'm using right now sounds superb, but even it drones in the cabin at times and I'm not entirely convinced it's the best flowing muffler out there... Especially with the 90° bottleneck the shop had to do to get the pipe around the differential. Plus, I still have all four cats.
The SRT will pass Insp. without the rear cats and Res. It would even pass in Cali. There are a few Cali people on MBforums that have this done and have had no problems.
