Default Extended warranty

There are lots of posts about extended warranties, but they are mostly pretty old before Chrysler went to Fiat. I can't seem to find Chrysler Extended Warranty by Chrysler. Anyone know if they are still available. I am considering warranty by Century Warranty Services. They are recommended by Costco. I got a flyer in the mail from Costco about them. Anybody have any experience with Century Warranty Services. I have a 2005 SRT6 Roadster with 28000 miles. I am second owner.

Be VERY careful with after-market warranties. I owned repair shops for over 10 years and not all are the same---NOT at all---MANY (read most) say one thing and then do another (all, well most, was legal just small print ways to get out of coverage; saw it too many times)---very few give little to no hassle---I had over 12 on speed dial back in the day---MANY MANY hours on the phone with these guys---BUYER BEWARE---Read everything, not just the cute, color flyer, they will make it sound great---Read the actually contract CAREFULLY! Good news---Chrysler still sells them---If it means anything, it's the one I bought after I read everything---$2035 for 5 more years/ 70k more miles with $200 deduct---I'm covered until July of 2015 or 73,515 miles---Get the MAX CARE. I called for another member last month and talked to Micheal (great guy). Here is his number----Michael Case---Office (630) 231-3464---Good luck---Jimmy

Thanks for the data. I know that it's a minefield in the Extended Warranty area.

Like Jimmy, I went with the extended warrant through Chrysler. 4 years and unlimited mileage for just over $2000. Paid itself off when I replaced the manifolds and AC compressor.

It's all in the fine print my friend---They say that they will fix EVERYTHING, but when something happens-"Oh, the seal leaked and caused the problem and YOU should have seen and known this"---I have seen too many unhappy customers. Mike will treat you right and MANY, MANY good story on here about the Chrysler Factory Plans---Good Luck---Jimmy
