Welcome, you will like it here. Anything you want to know is here, but you may have to put some effort into it like 'searching'.

Chances are good that you have a license plate light burned out. It is easy to miss.

Also the cupholder issue is common. Some have made repairs, some, like myself, replace it with a console bin.

Good luck, James

Welcome aboard and enjoy the forum. Just search for "Cupholder" and you should find what you need. Mine still works but my coin holder doesn't close. Have fun modding if that is what ypu plan on doing. Our cars really wake up with just a few simple ones.

Welcome Street6!

The cup holder in one of my cars requires a REALLY good smack at the very front of it to release it. Give it a try.

Glad that you found us. Spend some time looking us over and check in now and then. Great folks and a great site.

Hope my tip on the cup holder helps. I can't help with the color of your car though.
Sorry!

Congrats on the new car! It is easy to fall in love with these cars.

MIMI05SRT, you probably had quarters in the coin holder on a 11 second run. With a car that fast you may want to stick to dimes and pennies.

WELCOME "STREET6"! Let me be the first to invite you to the spring running of the "Tail of the Dragon", a screaming ride through the Smoky Mts. of NC/TN! The weekend is a great way to meet Forum members face to face and enjoy the variety of mods to these great cars. Info. may be seen on the Forum under Regional Meets. ALSO, it would help if you included your location in your info. In so doing, we can let you know what local get togethers are available; which members live near you.

street6...forget about the cup holder...better left alone and closed....lol... +3 on the license plate light... just start reading thru the old thread by using the search feature above. You will be spending a lot of $$$$$$$$$$ with what you learn you can do to your car...you will have to excuse DJ, he has a black fettish...something really bad in black must have effected him in a negative way...lol...Hopefully someday he will come out of his closet and share it with us...lol...welcome anyway...lol

Welcome aboard the forum, its a great wealth of information the Chrysler dealers do not have at their disposal. Please check the link below to see if your SRT6 is on the list, if not, provide the last 5 numbers of your VIN# and whether it's a coupe or roadster.

Low, low miles, but definitely the wrong color for me. Big hit with the over 40 crowd. And don't hijack with your second post, there is a for sale forum after all.

Welcome to the cool kids club, Street6. Now it's time to run that bad boy!

maybe i'd sell the graphite at some point, but they'll bury me in the black one.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I definitely get the feeling im gonna have some fun on here. btw im from the Boston MA area. and for those curious im 150% into modding my car. ive looked at the eurocharged packages etc, but im sure theres much more than that out there. any suggestions on a first mod, maybe cai??? . hey is it true they didnt give the srt6 the full 350hp because they didnt want it to be as fast as its slk twin?

yes.............very true....came from the mouths of the Chrysler people in charge of the build....

One other thing about HP...when you read thru some of the posts on here about HP, you will see #'s in the 370 area from dyno runs. That is "to the wheels", so don't get discouraged about the mods you do. "Crank" HP is over 400 when most mods are added. CAI is you best first step... I recommend Needswings, but some go with a MB set up, others make their own.
