Got the Euro Charged tune today
Adam was very patient with our lack of computer skills. Really it just took a few minutes once we got the program down loaded. The car now has the s/c Pulley,Needs Wings single cai. And the basic Euro Charged tune. Its hard to take off without spinning tires big time. Power just keeps building. I got on the highway ,and @ 50 mph I kicked it down into passing gear. The tires started to spin.ZOOOOMMMM. Is all I have left to say.
Congrat's., but be careful out there.
Remember, that rear can come around on you now in a heartbeat if you let it. And you'd better start saving for that next set of tires.
Me too. Eurocharged applied the tune Wed night. We had heavy rain that night so, no joy rides. But I had the car out yesterday and today. Roads were dry this morning but wet again tonight. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Maybe the weather will cooperate tomorrow.
Anyway, my SRT6 was totally stock before the tune. I can definitely feel the increased torque from 2,000 - 6,000 RPM on the butt dyno just like the Eurocharged graphs indicate. It's pulling harder at all engine speeds above idle. And throttle response seems more "right now". It's a pretty darn good value for the $380 Black Friday price. An added bonus is the exhaust note. It seems a bit more aggressive which I guess is rational given that the explosions in the cylinders are a bit more potent.
I'm curious to see what the tune will do for fuel mileage. The Eurocharged guys said that they leaned out the mixture slightly so I should expect a slight increase. My usual mileage is between 19-20 mpg in really heavy traffic here in CT. Any improvement will be a gift.
Right now I'm pretty happy with the results. Now if the roads would just dry out and the temp stays above 50!!!
