For those who want to think out of box, SRT-12 ?
I been thinking that adding a v 12 would really make the crossfire pop and be unique, agree?? Possibly a rear or mid section V12 would be the answer and the sound would not be bad. Well here is one that would fit under the tree , just in time for christmas. What better than a winter inside project to be ready for the spring.
Kinda wanted some second opinions on the approach. Gas milage should be improved a bit all in all, look see and let me know, Woody. Enjoy.

WOW...What a great video...!!!
Simply amazing at what some of these folks can accomplish on such a small scale.
I was waiting for him to pull out a tiny torque wrench and lock it down to specs...lol...

some really beautiful work there!
forgive my naivete, but with a 1:1 cam to crank ratio, is this a two-stroke 12cylinder?
really amazing work.... I was most moved (and nearly wept) when he made the 11'th hour transition from slotted to allen head screws.
all kidding aside .... this guy is an artist who has my admiration.

Seriously, Woody, why don't you be the first to shoehorn a SL600 V12 into a Crossie ?????
Radiator ? We don need no stinkin radiator .......

v-12 would be cool, but after watching Jim trying all kinds of ways to get his to hook up.....might just be for braggin' rights rather than functioning as a sporty car...too bad we can't change the rear ends....
Very impressive.. 30 weeks of 8 hour days and resting on weekends..That would be one expensive engine if you had to pay him by the hour!
