It is on the SRT6 VIN list but does not show a forum members name....

Did you look at it in person to think that the passenger door looked re-painted? From the pics it looks fine, of course....

$16k for a car with 41K miles isn't bad...if no accident... there are several reasons for repainting the door if it is...... if the car is solid and the paint done well I wouldn't let it stop me....

cannot tell anything from these pics, looks like it matches pretty well if it was repainted and didnt have any orange peel texture to it

If this can help---This is what the dealers paid at auction for the cars in the last couple of months---I saw the Nashville car and almost bought it---$11k plus buy fee and it was nice---Straight, clean, and no paint work---They are rare at the sales, but they are there---Tell the Dealer that "MMR" says this---Good luck

11/05/11 NASHVILLE $11,000 38,067 Above GREY 6G A Yes
10/20/11 TAMPA $12,000 48,402 Above BLUE 6G A Yes
10/13/11 MISS $9,200 58,127 Avg BLUE 6G A Yes
09/29/11 CHICAGO $10,300 65,575 Avg BLACK 6G A Yes
09/29/11 FRDKBURG $9,900 79,111 Avg GRAY 6G Yes
11/08/11 STATESVL $8,900 86,628 Avg BLACK 6G A Yes
10/06/11 FRDKBURG $8,200 101,513 Avg GRAY 6G Yes

Add a "buy fee" of $225 or so to all the above

I saw the car in person, they did a really nice job repainting - when I had a mechanic inspect it - he found the passenger side suspension looked considerably newer than the drivers side.

it must have been minor enough that the owner who potentially did the repair didn't report it to insurance.

If you don't notice any problems when you drive it, there's probably nothing wrong with it.

Looking at a car is great---I did used car inspections at my shop all the time---But when I saw suspension work, I would recommend an alignment to check IF I could align it to spec---My machine, as all, would go down to either a tenth of a degree on some measurements and one-hundredth of a degree on others---NO ONE can see this, but tires WILL wear and these babies burn fast enough as it is---MAYBE, the previous owner "tried" to fix it and could not get it 100% straight, and this is the reason for trading it---Not saying that it isn't done correctly---But we do know that its been painted, and a mechanic has questions about the age of parts---An alignment will give "numbers", and numbers DO NOT lie---Just a thought---Also use this to talk them down---They know this---They are pros, and they know painted cars are worth less---Good Luck---Jimmy
