Default It was a sad Christmas...

Well, not really. But I did manage to accomplish getting the wheels removed and the car put up on casters. She is done for the winter and will not see the sunlight for quite a few months. Drove the front of the car up onto a block to create enough room for a 4x4 and a jack to fit lengthwise along the two body supports underneath. Then lifted the car up to put the casters underneath, and set the car down. Repeated on the other side and VOILA! No flat spots. The beauty is the car can still get started, put into gear, forward and reverse occasionally(no throttle of course). This should allow the drivetrain to move and keep the fluids where they need to be, and get rid of any condensation built up anywhere. Its going to be a long winter, but she now has been named....DESIRE.

Ok, so I could not get the pictures linked directly into the post so you get external links.

It was a little cooler here today - the high only got up to 76* - you could really feel winters chill...

Your kidding me! The peoples republic of Minnesota is 76º in december? Wow! We're suffering a severe winter in P.R. On the beach (where I live, hehehe) it's reaching 72º at night. Brrrrrrr. Still in the 80's during the day.

Hold down the ALT key and type 0176 ON THE KEYPAD ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD

This will not work if you use the numbers along the top of the keyboard.

Make sure the 'Num Lock' is activated.

Only problem with the wheels off is you cannot take it out for that quick drive around the block when you get that one nice, sunny day in January. 30°s and 40°s in Michigan - really sucks. No ice on the lake for skating; no snow. But not really warm enough for the top down. (Just glad this was not an "I wrecked my XF post").

No i cant, but id rather keep the salt off of it than drive it. That salt will do some nasty work if you decide to take that route.
