Question Jack stands

I need to jack up all four of my tires, where is the best place to put my jacks if i am missing one of my jack stand pads????

Please can someone advise??

if the pad is missing in the front you can put the stands in under the lower control arm. theres a open slot that fits the stands very well. if its the rear slide a small block of wood under the stand to keep it from damaging the underside of the car

Help! Replacing oil sending unit, have all bolts out of pan & pan still will not come off.

What do you suggest???

BTW, jack stand pad is extremely easy to replace. You just need to buy the new part, it comes with the pad and a fat plastic screw that goes through the middle and into the frame. I think I bought mine from BMW Parts, Porsche Parts, Audi VW Mini Volvo Saab Mercedes Auto Parts - RM European Auto Parts (they are same part for SLK and w203 C-Class mercedes).

Mrmopar should have these from his wrecks, patronize the members when you can, as long as the price is fair.
