Default More mods to fight off Steve's beast.

I installed the NW dual intake tonight and configured the Dashdaq to read boost from the OBD and A/F from my Innovate. A few days ago I installed the NW sheet metal mani's, and I really like the way the NW's goodies look under the hood.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll receive my tuning cable from EC, so that I can load the injector file for the TTM injectors tomorrow evening.

That's it for now.

I almost forgot to give a big thanks to Rob (Needswings) for hooking me up with a free Y connector to replace the one that was trimmed too short by the previous owner. Thanks a lot, Rob; I owe you one.

Looks stout man, I can't wait to see it hit 11.7/11.6

Steve is too busy buying skinny wheels, fat rear slicks, parachutes, and roll-cages... At least his car will look like an 11-second ride

Personally, I'm enjoying the power I've got for a bit... My next few mods will actually help me go slower

Hey GG, looks GREAT! What are/is the set of wires over the bulkhead right behind/above the P/S headlight housing?

Looks great! I recommend the stock battery as your next upgrade, before it starts effecting your electronics.

Looking good Grip! Is their any mod you won't do? I'm really looking forward to hearing about your thoughts on the new parts performance.

Very nice! I'm really falling behind with so little mods that I currently have.

What is interesting to me is that there is plenty of documentation showing a NW single, pulley, and a tune will get you into high 11's...

In fact, grip-grip hit his first 11 with a NW single. Same for you, mrphotoman, and someone else IIRC.

Apparently, the driver mod is the most important one.

And yes, Steve... if my white one was as fast as it looked, we would've been golden. Sadly, 14.8 was all it did before passing away. Mind you, that was with a 3/4 tank of gas, heavy Mandrus wheels, a/c blowing, full street trim, and a Red Bull in the cupholder. And my 215-pound a$$ in the driver's seat

Nah, it's solid muscle.

On a more serious note, I am trying to drop some weight; I used to fight at 180# so I'm a bit inflated

Anthony, what finish is that on the NW duals? I love it, seems to have a good satin shine to it.

My NW single is a dull flat gray... not too crazy about it. Would love to get my OE manis modified, and coated with the same color as your dual CAI and have a matched set

Sound advice.

Will be interesting how much difference you notice with the new mods. I wonder how many more mods it will take to get a roadster into the 11s ......hrmmm

Steve one day you'll learn the world isn't about 1's and 0's. There's a lot to learn about the middle.

That was my next logical destination in this thread as well. Like hot apple pie, minus your dad walking in on you.

It's like the story of the octopus and the grasshopper. All summer long the octopus spent all of his time gathering nuts for the winter. The grasshopper laughed and made fun of the octopus. Then winter came and the octopus froze to death, and the grasshopper bought a race car! Do you see where I am going with this?
