Default Busy Day

My list of projects for the SRT6 is shorter after today. I installed the NW PSK, NW Oil Catch Can Kit, and HID fog light (I will install the other one tomorrow, only so much time in a day!). I had a muffler shop install the muffler hangers (best $20 I ever spent – I hate those things!). I removed them when installing the wavetrac and could not get them back on; even after a few choice words of motivation…those things are stubborn! Zip ties had to do the trick until I made it to the shop.

I ordered a set of Teflon coated valve covers from Rob and will be swapping them out soon. Sheeeesh, I keep adding to the list!

The psk how hard is the install on it. I found the nw instructions a bit lacking. Any tricks or problems.

It was a straight forward install and would have been quicker if I read the instructions better. This was the first time I removed the tensioner pulley so I used a socket wrench with a pipe on the handle to give me extra leverage to loosen the bolt.

Remember to loosely install the new belt before installing the bracket since you cannot run the belt through after the bracket is installed.

The small bolt and nut in the kit is for attaching the hose clamp at the top of the bracket. I know it is the instructions, just saying it again for you.

Don’t drop anything while doing this or you will go fishing in the pan below or in my case have to remove it!

The instructions could of included a few more pics so let me know if you need some.

Gotcha, I will send you the instructions and pics that I have as soon as I get back to the house. They should help you out.

I have a code3 pulley and these instructions worked fine. Not sure if there are different instructions based on the different type of pulley systems, but here you go. Good luck and let me know if you need anything else.
