I was getting gas today after work and a Mercedes Tech was next to me at the pump...I asked him a question about resealing the valve covers...He looked at it and explained that it was really easy to do...I also asked him about sealing the differential axle seals and he said those were easy as well...He went on to mention how good that engine and the 55 engines were...He says the new engines coming out are kinda crappy like the new V6 and V8 twin turbos...He looked at a few things on the car and said man this is just a SLK...It's a good car...I was happy to hear someone else saying things about the car that we owners already knew...He told me if I needed anything to just go over there...He said change the spark plugs and coil(which are pricey) at 100k and you should have no problems with the car...I asked him about if he knew of problems with the IC pumps failing but he wasn't really aware of that...He only mentioned that sometimes the supercharger pulleys make noise...
