boostmonkey on here has a spider gear setup for sale. as does grip grip and i have a set. you reuse your housing and ring and pinion

It sure can happen as you just found out. Spinning onto dry pavement. I have seen limited slip rear ends come apart doing that. As well as drive shafts snapped.

I wont know for sure until I take it apart.
I am planing on opening it up on Tuesday night. That's as soon as I will have a lift open and some time.
If I understand what I have read here as long as I only broke a spider-gear and my ring and pinion are ok then I will probably just bite the bullet and get a wavetrac from rob.
Anyone know where there are install and setup instructions for me to look over?

 

On a funny note.
My car has been stuck in the driveway all week due to Ice. The SRT6 is my most reasonable everyday vehicle.
My wife has been making fun of me all week saying I own a bunch of useless toys.
I have had a coworker pick me up for work all week.
Wait until she finds out I blew it up trying to simply pull it out of the driveway.
She is going to be relentless....lol
I don't think one of my motorcycles or my 1965 Belvedere would fare too well with the road conditions....
Looks like I'm getting picked up for work this week too.
