He gets congratulated for calling you out on the tool you are and have proved to be haha

I aspire to be just like you and drive a 04 GTO, the laughing stock of all GTO's

Downgrading cars has always been a dream of mine and going from a car that runs 12.9 to 13.2 stock to a car that does 13.8-14.0.

Speed isn't the only reason I would love to downgrade but the desire to drive a boat on a road just sounds sooooo tempting and fun.

Next I hope to go on all the possible car forums I can and promote my Goat like its the God of all cars. Then I will go back on a GTO forums and make fun of how a different car looks even though my Goat isn't a looker by any means.

Thanks for showing me the bright light at the end of the tunnel. You and my new aspiration!

Riiiiiight...blame it on your wife, very original. You suggested it, she shot it down. Your way of stating that the Crossfire should only be driven by a woman, as the GTO is a very manly car (for an Aussie reject POS).

Go back to your "goat" forum and brag some more about how you put the Crossfire crowd in their place. Enjoy your e-high fives and e-*** pats for a job well done.

In terms of respect...I don't think Crossfire owners spend their time going on other forums to trash their cars even though we might not like them...If that's what people feel they need to do in order to feel better about their cars I think that is sad...Buy the car that you like and be happy for what you have...Don't rain on others parade just because its not your choice...It's not like we're debating Chevy vs Ford...That's just funny on all kinds of levels...That being said "Bumpin Yota" you're a idiot...Do something constructive with your life...If you don't take Chuk_138's challenge, then just shut the hell up about how fast your car is...You probably are a Punk @ss

I can tell you I have run the 1/4 at Bandimere and spanked a GTO from the start to finish and never looked back.......In fact we talked afterwards and he was suprised to get beaten by my N/A crossfire. He knew the car well and 2 other SRT6's were there with me Itsky and Modlessg and we had a good time. I also ran against an STI and corvette and beat them both. The 1 I didn't beat was the kawasaki 750 w/160hp bike. Also of note was the '68 barracuda that waxed my a$$ but then he was running low 12's at 5800 ft so was tuned into the track. It was the first time I ran my xfire at the track and it was fun and educational as well. But GTO's are a dime a dozen and altho nice cars not in the same lreague as the crossfire. Any 1 with a GTO wants to run with me bring 'em on. Been there done that twice and was wayyyyyyyyy faster both times.

None of you have bashed the GTO on the GTO site, and in turn, I'll refrain from bashing the crossfire here on a crossfire site. (That was what I was referring to, and only that, in my misuse of the word respect. Apologies on that miscommunication.) But bash the crossfire on other sites? You betcha! (Really only to get a rise out of that particular person here.)

Twice now you've gotten all upset over nothing. Don't take stuff so seriously. LoL!

First magazine drivers are idiots (were you derive your incorrect information.) The same morons that gave the 04 a quarter mile time of 13.8+ also only got a 13.9 out of the 2003 cobra, a car that in a good drivers hands will run 12.7@113-114 bone stock and makes around 380 to the wheel again stock.

Truth be told, if given equal drivers, on average, the 04 will be about 0.3 ET slower and about 3 mph slower. Having said this, I have yet to loose to and equally modded 05/06 and I've raced 5.

Now please do indicate were precisely I stated that the GTO was the god of anything?

Also my comment of your aspirations was mainly a jab at your mental prowess, or complete lack thereof.

You do realize that in the context of debate, name calling and general insulting merely confirms the opponent's argument, right?

Why don't we run at BMP in Bradenton instead? If you live in o-town, BMP is a nice middle meeting point.

I'm not raining on any parade, at least that's not my intention. IMO different strokes for different strokes. In all actuality, I was trying to get a rise specifically out of "the beep" and judging by his multiple posts after, has worked!

Also up until this post I have not mentioned the speed of my car. I'd love to take chuk's challenge, but there is one main issue - I am not driving 4 hours out of my way for a stupid and very lopsided grudge match. An hour to Bradenton Motorsports park sure, but OSW with their captastical track prep, nah I'll pass.

Just in case you missed it in the big post...

How about BMP instead? It's a nice middle meeting point... I still have to drive over an hour north to get there vs about 4 for OSW.

Wow...... You do understand that magazine drivers job is to drive cars fast right? Go to car and driver, put money against one of them stock to stock on the same car and I almost guarentee you wont like the outcome.

That being said, since you seem to think so highly of your car why dont you run someone on a course???? Why dont you put money on it too?..... Your car from what your saying should easily take all of these guys since it would be sooo fast in the straights...

Then you would think they would be able to drive better than a quadriplegic having an epileptic seizure behind the wheel then? Yet in the case of the 2003 cobra, they (as in the "pro" drivers you cite) from car and driver specifically, failed to comprehend that the burn out occurs BEFORE the quarter mile pass, not in the first 60' after the tree drops. If any of them could comprehend the concept of peddeling the car when it lost traction, they'd have run a very low 13 if not a 12. Yet they failed miserably and actually published an absolutely laughable time of 13.9 with a 110 or 111 trap. Such an ET vs trap speed reeks of newbie driver spinning out for an extended period of time at the line. Yet the cars they praise mostly are AWD platforms that will not spin the tires like mad or at the vey least have a launch control feature. Any time they drive a car that requires the least bit of skill to launch, they publish a laughable 1/4 mile time.

Are you resorting to the ricer argument of, "...yeah well mines fast in the twisties?". For your sake, I certainly hope not.

I also could not care any less about road racing.

Good day.

Ive done research and found most of the times they publish to be pretty dead on. I havent researched the cobra (cause I hate ford) but from my understanding, you dont heat stock street tires before a 1/4................ Prove me wrong??

I would never call my car a ricer. No 4 banger here..... but no, I was simply stating that a track requires more skill... and since you state you are such a good driver maybe you should road race??? You know, put your money where your mouth is????? and why would you resort to threats? - [ For your sake, I certainly hope not]- were simply having a discussion about cars not who swings the biggest johnson....
