Whos Got the best Dashdaq?...
Doing some overtime in the Topend of Australia and am going to reward myself with an OBDII dashdaq.
Looking for opinions.
I'm not an android/iphone owner...yet so standalone maybe it.
Also looking to DIY my own garage fuel maps/tunes eventually - but that's for another thread.
SDS hard drive ex China + thinkpad...hmmm...have considered, but no good for live data/virtual gauges.

the best and you will love it.
now theres the zt2 and zt3...
so I'm guessing the zt2 is an older model and now superseded?
and I'd have to get the data logger as well for $99.....
Zeitronix Order Page : Wideband Engine Datalogging Systems and Accessories
As far as user inputs go - how many extra are available? I'm thinking you'd need at least 4 or 5?
EGT
SC cooling water temp
Air Intake temps pre charger

Looks like the "new technology" solution would be an OBDII Bluetooth sender unit plugged into the OBDII port and an android phone with suitable app to provide "almost" the same functionality as the Dasdaq (...if I can say it.....possibly already "old technology").
You can get the OBDII units out of china for $15 delivered, but they may not have the functionality - ie: there may be better ones.
I have confirmed with a mate, that update/refresh rates are okay.
This option may however preculde the addition of a wide band and auxilliary inputs etc. though..

- anyone running such a system and found a good app?
- anyone added a wide band as well to the ECU and addressed (CAN) it so you can actually pick it up through the CAN signal and present it to the OBDII port?
nope!! i log 11 parameters on my dashdaq and have the only latemodel21 custom mount bracket in the world!!
That's a lot of parameters Steve. Nice.
