Default SRT6 Iridium Spark Plug Sizes

Hey guys, according to the NGK site, the only difference between a Bxxxx spark plug and a BKxxxx spark plug is the hex size. The thread size is the exact same.

With that being so, would a Bxxxx spark plug work the same as a BKxxxx spark plug?

Here is a link to the site that explains what the spark plug numbers mean...

The way I read the chart, the only difference between a "B" and a "BR" is the "BR" is a resistor type plug. The hex size and the thread side are the same.

Whoops, I fixed it. I meant B vs BK (first column).

Holy ****, that's 3 heat ranges colder than stock... You running 525-600 Horsepower?!?!?!

Or are you compensating for lean issues?

The reccomended Denso's are IK16!!! (each heat range is going up two numbers in the Denso line.)

I found an awesome site where they had the heat range 6 NGK IX's (stock) and the heat range 7 NGK IX's (1 Heat range colder which is for 75-100 HP over stock)...

For only 50 dollars, TOTAL, including shipping, for a set of 12 of EACH!!!!!!

24 spark plugs, two heat ranges, NGK Iridium IX's...

Unfortunately, they only had 3 left of each

Bastards.

IK20 would be for the stock SRT-6. The IK22's are only 1 step colder.

That's because they list the same plugs for both the N/A and SRT6 as being the same, which they are not.

Just be careful re-gapping them. Take your time and set them at what you want. .035 is perfect for my setup.
