Re: SRT6 Serial Numbers ~ PDF format file...continued
I wanted to add the cars that Treadway in Findlay, OH currently has in stock:
#38199 - Sold recently for $11,990 - 67,765 miles - Black Coupe
#57301 - Asking $18,990 - 24,994 miles - SSB Coupe
#56150 IS NOT ON THE LIST - Confirmed via CarFax this IS an SRT6 VIN - 9,184 miles - Black Roadster - Treadway is asking $26,990
*Note on the #56150 - Treadway scooped it up just 12 hours before we saw it. I am still super-bummed about this! The dealership that had it was asking like $12,900 or something. Treadway bought it and then is now asking double. We live not too far from the dealership where it was, so we were going to drive down there and buy it that day. I am still very upset about that. This was like a month ago. I now have active searches for SRT6's across the web that I check daily. I just want one low mileage SRT6 Roadster in our collection. Too much to ask?

The owners of Treadway had a Chrysler dealership, before Chrysler downsized their footprint in the US. They had very knowledgeable about the Crossfire and all related models. The eldest son, contributed quite often to this forum, until someone got ugly and he quit communicating with members of the forum.
The majority of dealer selling the Crossfire SRT6's have no idea as to rarity of the car, especially the low mileage cars. There is no sentimental attachment to these cars, just get it off the lot, so this is the reason it was a dealer sale to another dealer. You can't blame Treadway, since they know the rarity of an SRT6 Roadster.
I would check Craigslist Nationwide as well, since I've found a few interesting ones the, with low miles.
I checked my latest VIN database and all of the ones you've listed are there, thanks for your efforts.
Good Luck in your search for that SRT6 roadster.

Re: SRT6 Serial Numbers ~ PDF format file...continued
Not sure why it would be. My SRT6 is #59423 and is one of the last 2005's. Don't think RHD would make a difference as far as Production Numbers and year assignment go.
Re: SRT6 Serial Numbers ~ PDF format file...continued
I misread a number and corrected the post but the correction never showed up. I answered a thread just after that and it never showed up either, I could not be bothered to do it again. Frustrating.

So we are good then? Because I can assure you that my car is not RHD and I double checked the number to make sure that I didn't make an error, and 57893 is the correct last 5 of my VIN.

Your VIN# is correct for a 2005 SRT6, and new to the database. I added the your forum name to the new line and will appear at the next publish date.
BTW, welcome to the forum, it has a wealth of information, since it has been accumulating over the past 13+ years.
To ALL other respondents to this VIN# dispute
Please keep in mind, when the factory begins manufacturing cars, such as the crossfire, the designation for the year (SRT6) will begin as:
5X 020001 to 029999
5X 030001 to 039999
5X 040001 to 049999
5X 050001 to 059999
5X 060001 to 061033 Last # 2005 on our database, Final number unknown
6X 064100 to 069395 Last known 2006 manufactured
The last 4 numbers of the SRT VIN#'s will have duplicates for the 5X or 6X, just the last 4 numbers, not the entire VIN#.
The database is correct.....
The manufacturing of the SRT6's VIN#'s were mingled with the Limited, Base and SE models in 2005 and 2006, this is the reason the SRT6's don't have consecutive numbers.

Dennis

From what I was able to look at last night, I have no doubt that there is some great information and very
knowledgeable members in this forum and I look forward to hopefully being able to contribute as well.
Re: SRT6 Serial Numbers ~ PDF format file...continued
Your VIN# was added previously from an internet sales site, so I added your forum name to the existing line in the database. I need to confirm that its a coupe and the color is Aero Blue for the record.
BTW, welcome to the forum, you'll find just about everything, from maintenance to performance items associated with your "new" SRT6.
Welcome....
