Default Buying a SRT-6 with 52k miles???

Well I've been waiting for a while for a really low mileage srt to come in my area but have had no luck. There is one with 52k and really well priced and I'm wondering if I should jump on it or not.

Is 52k a lot for these cars? It's going to be my daily driver and I want to enjoy it for a while and even mod it. What am I getting myself into with starting with this many miles?

52K is barely broke in. Of course it depends alot on how it has driven those 52K miles. Mine has right at 52K also and still runs and drives like new. If the deal is right...then bite! lol

No, 52 is not really a lot of miles if its driven right. If not there could be a few expensive issues, intercooler, rear end... How much is he asking?

It's a dealer asking 11900. And it's completely stock so hopefully it has been babied over the years

Not a nad price, I would make them pull the right side intake manifold and look for green crap in the underside of the manifold, if so interoocler leak, could be pricey, if not then your good.
Someone may be able to correct me if its either side manifold

Appreciate the help, yea it wouldn't be the end of the world either as I was thinking of doing an intercooler upgrade along with pump and isolation kit. But that's beside the point. I'm not even going to be drag racing the car. It's just something for the street I want to enjoy for a few years at least.

If the car is in great condition (a BIG if!), then that is a GREAT deal for an SRT6. A great one. KBB puts it in the ~18500-19000 range. of course, it should be the right color and be exactly what you want, but if it is, that's an excellent deal. and I agree with the other members about that being pretty low miles.

18-19k?? The values start at around 12.5, just picked one up with 70k for $11k. 52k is low mileage considering the car is 7 years old so under 8k miles a year is very little, if its going to be your dd, you will be racking up those miles quick so I wouldn't worry about it

I bought the roadster with 60k on the clock -- daily driver now has 96k in 18 months. Do your maintenance and you should be fine. Every used car is a pig in a poke, but this pig has healthy blood lines.
