Spark Plugs...
So new to this car still and wondering if anyone know some really good spark plugs to upgrade too. In the srt-6 section since I wasn't sure if the base had different results switching out compared to the srt-6. Any help is appreciated!
You need to check out needswings.com hes a forum sponsor and has a good deal up for a spark plug kit.
Put the money into more efficient improvements.
Or he can do what he wants to his car and you can help him with what he has asked the forum for...
Maybe he will buy your brakes using money saved on spark plugs., no one else is interested.

god forbid someone ask for a suggestion, and i'm sorry no one can afford my brakes. Why are you such an angry old man?
Are the OEM plugs iridium? If so, change 'em every 80k miles, whether they need it or not
If they are not, get some iridiums and forget about it.
I used to run copper plugs and change them all the time, but it's just not worth the effort with the quality plugs and ignition systems in cars these days
I'll buy platinums if I am being cheap and/or unsure how long I will keep the car.
I know some people like them, but I have had bad experience with the Bosch +4 plugs, and Bosch plugs in general. I look for NGK (favorite) follow by Denso and Autolite.

Thanks everyone! Didn't mean to start any arguments on here just looking for some insight on things to do. Its just one of the first things I do when I pop the hood. Just wanna check things out and if they can be improved I'll do it. (If not too outrageous) But thanks again! Yeah I'm checking needswings right now.

NGK's Laser Iridium Spark Plugs Provide Superior Ignitability and Long Service Life.
Fine Wire Iridium Tipped Center Electrode and Fine Wire Platinum Tipped Ground Electrode Ensures Slow Wear Rate Providing Stable Idle, Superior Anti Fouling, Improved Fuel Efficiency and Lower Emissions.

NeedsWings Ignition Kit Crossfire
Lol @ first class... You don't need a wire kit whatsoever on this car and a capping tool is $2 at a store so save your money and just get the plugs, plenty of places sell them for very cheap.

Or maybe you live in the happy fairy tale land where parts never wear out. Keep thinking that and don't worry about changing your oil either, it never wears out.
Speaking of changing spark plugs, what tool is everyone using to remove the boots? It's a PITA. I've used channel locks, but I need to get a proper tool. Anybody recommend a place to buy one?
This looks about right:

the stock srt6 plugs are the laser iridiums (ifr6d10), i recommend these plugs for the kompressor motors, not the na motors.
i personally changed mine at 22k miles when i swapped in the new cylinder heads but that is just me. i would have otherwise left them in there till 50k miles unless an issue arrised.
as for the gapping tool, i get those for you guys so that you dont break the tips on the expensive plugs with a $2 gapping tool mentioned above that opens the gap by wedging force, please watch the ngk video on the plugs page on our website showing why this is important. the plugs are only availabe in packs of 4, if you break the tip of 1 plug you just cost yourself enough to spoil your mood for sure.
the wire removing tool on ebay linked above... works great and is correct, it is a 17mm wrench with a funky bend to it so you can pop them off by leveraging off the valve covers. if you just pull the wires out by hand you have a very good chance of damaging the stock wires. i purchased mine from ElPaso tool on ebay, he has a lot of benz tools and has been reliable thus far.
the wires we carry are 8.5mm thick, they are a nicer wire than the factory wire and actually end up cheaper than oem wires too. that combo is on both our srt6 and c32 at a 0.039" gap
if you srt6 has under 50k miles and is running/idling smoothly then i wouldnt touch the plugs/wires yet.

Dont worry about it, that is why the forum is dying and im not going to put up with these guys who shut down everyones ideas, questions, and requests for help anymore. You are way more annoying than helpful when you tell someone that has already posted a question to go look for the answer...
LMAO....looking for the right answer might be better than someone popping up and telling him the wrong answer...there isn't a need to change the spark plugs unless you have a problem or more than 80K. If you are modding, then going colder might be a reason...I might hazard a quess he doesn't know how many.....WE help out all the time, and Dave does his fair share, hell, more than his fair share....this forum will still be around unless the trolls take it completely over....DON'T bother changing the sparks plugs...but if you do, order 12....
this 60 year old man wouldn't have a bit of problem kicking your little smart ***...take a hike.....you haven't done **** except try to sell brakes you more than likely can't install. No one cares what you think.....and people are tired of reading about your 2300 dollar brakes...Hell, you need to go fast first.....
