Spark Plugs...
this 60 year old man wouldn't have a bit of problem kicking your little smart ***...take a hike.....you haven't done **** except try to sell brakes you more than likely can't install. No one cares what you think.....and people are tired of reading about your 2300 dollar brakes...Hell, you need to go fast first.....
Threats now in my books that crosses the line and enjoy your ban. but if you want to go that far Ill bring my .45.

Lets settle down gentleman... And stick to topic. Anymore ot and I will be forced to clean the post up and get back to the subject. To all... Thanks for your understanding.
This did go to hell in a hand basket quickly. Someone saying they will bring a .45 is a bit over the top, especially as he had mentioned another person getting banned for threats.
I took the trouble to find what you had posted about your car and found you had previously stated it was a low mileage roadster. As the plugs last a long time normally and you did not mention problems, I stated that plugs were not required and this was backed up by Rob at Needswings saying the same thing. As he would gladly sell you plugs if you insisted, I took that as proving my point.
It appears that some people would save you the cost of twelve plugs and others would have you spend $120+ for no good reason.

I have a question....
Rob has the nice laser iridium at stock temp and the regular iridium in a colder temp. I have had the colder plugs for about 40,000. was looking to get some new ones while the sale is on. Are the laser better for modded or should I stick with the colder temps?

Here's some info from NGK http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/pdf/DYK...idium%20IX.pdf
Doesn't really address colder vs. stock, but does highlight the differences between iridium and laser iridium

Read this in an article about the c320.....same engine....
"These all-aluminum 90 degree V6 engines have an unusual valve arrangement, 2 intake and 1 exhaust, with 2 sparkplugs per cylinder, each with their own coil. The idea of the single exhaust valve is that the exhaust gas remains hotter, thereby improving emissions especially when the engine is still cold. A single exhaust valve also allows room for the 2 plugs which fire in sequence, first one then the other. This allows for,among other things, a much leaner mixture to be used for improved gasmileage and reduced emissions. After each firing cycle, the order in which the two plugs fire is reversed, allowing for a smoother engine with better control over engine noise."

Man ;
It has been some time since I have been here - it seems like the whole group has a case of the Mondays. My question was HOW to change plugs (okay I know all of you are saying what a new be) BUT there are always tips and trick to be gleaned from a crowd. If you think changein plugs on crosfire is tough try it on a 1995 supercharged Corvette - now tha is a challenge.
Any tips on changing plugs on 2005 Crossfire
Thanks in advance Jim
