Found and purchased a new-to-me Crossfire.
As some of you already know, my Crossfire did some off-roading right before Thanksgiving, and was subsequently declared a total loss. I finally received my settlement check on Friday, so now I'm just waiting for the salesman to send me the documents to finalize the transaction.
The Crossfire is currently in upstate New York, and should be on a transport truck by Wed or Thur. I was prepared to fly up and drive it home, but that plan fell through when the check was delayed. I really don't want to drive 1K miles through the winter and risk ending up in a ditch anway, so it's probably for the best.
I ended up staying with the same color and of course it's an SRT6. If everything goes as planned, I should take possession the week of the 17th. I guess I can gift wrap my 61MM pulley so that I have something to look forward to on the 25th.
The car was supposedly owned by a collector, who died earlier this year. After he passed, his daughter titled it in her name and then sold it to the dealership I bought it from. However, 3 months ago the car was sold to a lady that didn't reallize these cars aren't that great in the snow. As a result, she installed new all season Michelin tires, and when that didn't make it a snow-machine, she traded it in at the same dealership in November.
Anyway, I hope I didn't bore you all to death with the details. It will be great to be out of the rental and back behind the wheel of a SSB SRT6.

Way to go, Grip! Glad to see that you're back in business. You didn't happen to steal your old battery out of your old ride, did you? Might be another gift you could have under the tree
Under 4K miles - I've seen SRTs list for about 25K that have been this "babied". Heck of a investment
180 - how did you know the miles?

I was very tempted to save 5-6 grand going with a higher mileage car, but Steve and others (including my wife) talked me out of it.
He showed the dealer in the report and .......
So, how many years were you with CSIS, 180? (if that's your real name...
