Howdy!
Greetings to all. FNG here.
I poked around for an intro forum but didn't see one so I'm guessing here is just as good.
-Name's Rob. I'm converting from the SRT-8 crowd. My old ride was a 300c SRT, in black of course.
With a handful of mods she went 12.52@109. Was on her way to 12.30's but I started getting the feeling that I wanted something smaller, more nimble and with more bang-for-buck HP.
Enter the Crossfire SRT-6. I'd considered several other cars first (even an CL65 AMG!!) but when it all boiled down, the Crossfire just made the most sense.
Currently brokering the deal on my black '05 coupe (again, black.. Not aware that any other color exists
).
Look forward to soaking up all the knowledge I can around here; and hopefully contributing some too.
Cheers!

Think your going to fit in fine.. LOL... good luck on the deal, and welcome aboard..
At least they have colorful personalities!
black attracts dust & dirt at an exponential rate depending on the number of wax coats applied.
( I know, I have a black 2002 Concorde Limited - LOTS of black on that thing )

Welcome... Be sure to bone up on all the typical problems that may crop up over time...... They have all been mostly solved. Avoid the stealership. Go HERE first and search. You will find the answer. Then either Fixit URself, or find a SRT6 trained tech that is good at a local place...... there are people here that are better at fixing SRT6's and N/A Xfires than there are Chrysler-trained techs. So, bear that in mind always.
So when I'm asked what color is my Crossfire, I should say it doesn't have a color?
Welcome!
Not too shabby!
Thanks all for the warm welcome. I plan on starting a build thread just as soon as the XF lands in my garage. Being patient is becoming a challenge after viewing all the nice rides around here.

Welcome and you will not be disappointed with this car or this forum. A lot of fun to drive and mod. I have said multiple times, just one more mod and then I am done…it just doesn’t happen…it never stops! The SRT8 looked great by the way and that was a great track time.
Dementors got that right, you will enjoy modding the car but you will never be done, theres just so much that can be done. By the way, this is directed to everybody, are there any of you XF'ers from Pa?
OMG that license plate JUST HAS to be mounted better than it is! Can anyone say 'repaint the lower fascia scratches soon' ???
