This is an extra set so my car is still together.
Not sure when I'll have time to put it together.

Those aren't mine. It's just the next picture in the forum gallery.

PPG delstar.
I have been custom mixing this stuff for over 15 years to paint motors in the shop.
Nothing, nothing works or holds up better when prepped, mixed and sprayed correctly.
We use it on all our concourse restorations.

OT - Stryfox - funy you should mention that....I just posted over at benzworld a query around finding an OEM beige colour for the valve colour on my SLK23...here....
Looking for OEM valve cover colour spray... - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

any ideas - are there ready made OEM colour cans out there? I guess mixing it yourself - you're probably not in that space.

Actually we do package it in an aresol can for home restorers.
In the aresol it is not as glossy as it is out of the gun and takes longer to cure.
One it is brought up to operating temps on a motor is is very durable.
You would have to buy a few cases to make it worth while to do a custom color.
We normaly only package it in vintage mopar engine colors.

stryfox, do the folks at moparts, cbodydrydock and imperialclub know about this? All of them have lots of members who do this stuff. I do not see engine colors at that site -- black, gold, turquoise, red, hemi orange, etc., but your post says "vintage mopar engine colors".

Also I just wanted to say. I am not here to try and sell goods.
My crossfire is my daily mopar ride. I hang out here for fun.
I was only trying to help with questions.
I am the manager at the shop and also do most of the painting.

We specialize in 1966-1974
We have the following eng colors
Engine orange
Early orange
Blue
Red
Turquoise
There is an application chart on our site. Again it really only covers the years we specialize in. Some a little earlier are the same.

That looks just horrible and cheap, reminds me of old school cars spraying the whole engine with high gloss engine enamel instead of restoring it to original condition the right way. Word of advice, strip that paint and powdercoat with flat or Ferrari wrinkle red like below. I'd also sand down/polish the SRT 6 letters afterwards.

Not your car, He likes it, it's not a Ferrari. He's worked long and hard on it I'm sure so don't be negative.
