Ride height/is my car lowered?
I have searched high and low on the forum, and haven't been able to find any info on how to determine if a car has been lowered. Are there any chassis/body points that can be measured to determine factory ride height?
thanks
thanks
Most have done a before and afteron their own car measuring from the top of the wheel or tire up to the fender. Search lowering or lowered Another good thread is lowered my ride for $24.99. Here is a pic of mine before and after lowering 1 1/2" - 2" in the back. hope it helps.

Post up some pictures of your car so we can get an idea, a lot of members lower their car by cutting stock springs as it's the best in terms of performance and you choose the ride height. Having said that, some members lower the car slightly, to even out the front/rear and/or to give a mild drop. Here is my before and after, the drop is pretty aggressive, lower than above. You can tell if it's stock by measuring the gap between the tire and the fender, in the rear it's about 3 fingers stock and 2.5 in the front or so. Right now I have no gap at all, I have to put my finger at an angle to get in there.. (sounds dirty lol).

Right back at you, don't the rest know that black is the fastest color
. Now I just need my lady to do some car modeling too. I got the AMG caps and painted the bolts black for some contrast. Where are the pics Kenek
? I hope your SRT is black as well so we can start a lowered (if yours is) black SRT show-off thread haha.

Saw it somewhere but could somebody put the measurements for the stock height, for front/rear from the ground to the middle of the fender. I lowered the car but need to get it reinspected so could anybody post these measurements on stock size tires. Thanks.

Ok, so I measured the rear wheel wells, and I'm pretty sure my car is NOT lowered. Passenger side is 27 inches which seems the stock height, however, the driver's side is 27 3/4 inches. Anyone have a clue as to the extra 3/4 inch? A spring not set up correctly? I'll pull the wheels this weekend to see if there is anything readily visible that might cause the difference.
Thanks for the offer.. but being in Oklahoma I probably need a little more advanced notice..
