I am trying to remove both headlight housings. 4 bolts ain't it. Have searched here and will try removing the grille. Any help appreciated. I had to walk away before I grabbed my HAMMER.

From experience I recommend you remove the bumper unless you want to scratch them up.

First remove the grille, 4 screws at the top, the bottom pulls straight out forward. Remove the bolt next to the headlight that attaches to the front bumper. Gently pull the bumper upright out just a little and place a piece of wood, etc to hold it out of the way to gain clearance. With the grille removed, you can easily remove the inner bottom bolts. Remove the fender marker lights to access the bottom outer bolts.

When doing this, I apply wide masking tape on all painted areas for protection.

You can get a bit more clearance if you snug the threaded spacers that the bottom bolts go through up into the brackets. I had to jiggle mine around a bit but they did come out without removing the bumper. It is a tight fit, though. If I remember correctly I had to turn them 90 degrees before they'd slide out. Removing the grille doesn't make much if any difference but my grille was out when I took out the headlights. Good luck!

I got them out after removing the grille. I just hope I can get them back in! I am going to try and make them look like new. Thanks.

Four screws in each unit I recall, look in the service Manual.

This is what I had to do when I first bought the car. I installed Silverstar Ultras, and took the bumper cover off to get both headlight assemblies out without damaging anything. I wrote quite a post when I did that back in late 2009 I think (maybe early 2010). Removing the bumper was quite easy, there was only about 14 fasteners (man I am so lazy not looking up the original post but I am soooo sleepy)... Turns out I learned quite a lot about the front end of my car that day and it was quite a lot of fun opening her up so much. Once the bumper (actually front facia) was off the headlights came straight out the front with no problems reaching all the headlight screws/bolts.

Found ( https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ight-saga.html ) it! Damn it was hard to find too, dang search only came up with a years worth of posts and it took a while to cull through and realize it was only a years worth! Hope it helps!
