I recently installed a brand new 65MM Eurocharged SC pulley and a Needswings Pulley Saver Kit.

I've noticed after a week im getting a whistling sound whenever i accelerate and push down on the gas pedal. Different whistle sound from the supercharger. Could it be a bad idler pulley?

The only thing I had done was that, tune, new plugs and wires installed and they took off part of my intake.

I was thinking a intake leak somewhere, but I have contacted Rob on the issue. Just seeing what your thoughts were or if someone has experienced something like this?

How is it running? Noticeable power difference over the stock pulley/tune? If you had a stock intake and then opened it up a bit by doing the DIY intake mod or removing baffles or whatever else, you would get a suction noise especially noticeable at light throttle before the supercharger drowns it out

 

There is a noticeable power difference over the stock. I have a Needswings Dual CAI.

Its a whistling sound everytime I step on the gas to accelerate. It wasnt there before.

 

Sounds like an Intake manifold gasket leak to me.

 

Coincidental timing for something like this to arise but yeah definitely sounds like it could be. You could try to take a clip.
