Default Available again California SRT6 with incredibly low miles

After spending two weeks negotiating with the bank on buying the 2005 Crossfire SRT6 Coupe I found here in San Diego with less than 2,000 miles on it, the deal is not going to work ...

so the car is available.

It's been in a collection since it was new, in a temp-controlled garage under a cover. The owner purchased a premium care factory extended warranty for the car which just expired a few months ago. Chrysler reports there was a recall (something do to with a cooling fan) a few months after it was purchased at the local dealer here, then an oil change a couple months later ... then nothing. It's a medium blue metallic with dark blue interior and navigation. The car is flawless and I hate to give it up -- but will be other cars ...

I suspect it'll be re-listed on Ebay in the next day or so, but I'd be happy to put you in touch with the owner before that. He's an enthusiast who buys and sells collectible cars out of his garage part time.

<sigh>

Why was the guy thinning his collection, and did he drive it every so often to keep fluids in line?

Yes, the car got driven occasionally. Don't know if all the fluids were changed before I looked at it, but everything was clear.

It's a coupe. Don't know what the asking price is now, but it books (KBB) with the add for mileage at $22k.

I really like this car, if I was living in the US, I would have snapped it up.. ;-)

There is a SSB SRT-6 Roadster with similar miles/kilometres for sale here in Australia, but four times the price of this one... :-0

Can you find a reputable agent that you could use in the U.S. to buy and ship the car to Australia vs. paying big money there? Not sure how that would work. Not sure if they let you import outside purchases without heavy tariffs in AUS either. Lots of untested road blocks.

Cheers!

It's quite hard to import cars into Australia (built after 1988) because it would have to be complianced to "Australian Design Rules"... Also, the fact that we are a Right Hand Drive country is whole another story...

SRT-6s from the UK would be better option however... ;-)
