Valve Cover Bolts Torque?
I've done the research and from what I have found these should be torqued to 7 ft/lbs. But, is that for the smaller breather covers on top and the valve covers that sit on the heads?
I've got a film of oil between the valve covers and the heads (around the spark plug area). 36,000 miles and never re-tightened, so I'm going to try re-torquing before taking them off and applying new sealant.

FYI, the valve cover uses a pre-formed rubber gasket. I would imagine a retorque should fix you up. I pulled mine to paint, so I just replaced the gaskets while I was there. Plus they are only $12.85/ea. from autohausAZ
