Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
That's news to me, he didn't do anything to the car. I was with him when he bought it and we went through the whole thing, doesn't look or drive like it's been totaled so who ever did the work did a great job👌🏻 I'm in the process of replacing intake, exhaust and center bearing this week, last week I ran a 13.2sec @104mph Not bad for a 12yr old car with 150k

You may want to obtain a Car Fax on your SRT6 VIN#, it may show the insurance occurrence. Keep in mind, there are several states that register vehicles and "wash" titles that wipe clean prior issues, like lemon law designations or even rebuilt/salvage status titles.
The history of various insurance company claims is not friendly to the Crossfire, it doesn't take to much damage to declare a Crossfire as a "total loss", it's due to the lack of parts and the high cost of those parts at this time, 13 years after being manufactured.

Your SRT6 is a new VIN# for the database, just one question, which Blue is the color? Sapphire Silver Blue (silver Blue) or Aero Blue (medium blue color)?
BTW. welcome to the SRT6 family of owners and to the forum, a wealth of information that has been accumulated over the past 12 years.
Enjoy your SRT6....

Hi all, newbie from Ohio here.
Just picked up a 2005 SRT6 Roadster - 103k miles - VIN # 1C3AN75N05X044053 - Aero Blue - Light crash on right front, but should be on the road by spring. :-)

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Thanks for the welcome, unfortunately that's the good side. The other side fender and headlight are destroyed, tore up the bumper cover and pushed the wheel back about an inch. The good news is that the only part I don't have is a replacement bumper cover. I'm hoping I can fix that one for now.

Welcome to the SRT6 section of the Crossfire Forum! I've added your forum name to the existing line in the VIN# database. Since this SRT6 has moderate damage from an accident, does it have a salvage title due to an insurance claim?
It seems insurance companies have a mission to "total" these cars with the minimal amount of damage.
You should be able to find parts in a salvage yard, like LKQ or any other national company.
Good Luck on the rebuild....

Coupe, Aero Blue, 1C3AN79N65X050305, in San Diego, CA.
Thanks for the VIN#, it's a new one for the database. I've added your forum name as well and will appear at the next time I publish the list on this site.
Welcome to the forum, it has about 98% of the information you'll need to maintain or mod your SRT6. It's a great car, I've owned mine since April 2006.
Good Luck....

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
I would like to report that I have the 2006 SRT #64173 in Machine Grey. It was on your list
registered to David Pickett. I have owned it since Jan 2017. I thought I may have already sent you the info.
Could you make the name change for me on your listing? It is I believe the only Machine Grey Coupe in the US. it has 63,000 mile on it and is like new. I did see there is one other 2006 MG listed in Puerto Rico. I hope it survived the latest storm?
