I have no idea.

I heard Jim ran a personal best by .005 seconds though.

wait until the swedes start racing. we are hitting the strip in a month or so. both albino with the 61mm and Silverarrows SRT-6 black series (serious modding, look at SRT-6.com or our fb page "chrylser crossfire srt-6" for more info). We have tunes for 98 octance, good elevation and cool dry climate. Hopefully we will trap some good times. We do not run slicks though. We like to do drive just as you are on the road.

Automatic cars seem to work better on radials at lower pressures, slicks would probably just kill your MPH anyway. I picked up almost half a second and 4 mph my first time at the track just by dropping the tire pressure to 25 psi (M/T street comp street tires, not drag radials).

I did some more stuff to your car but haven't been to the track yet.
Honestly didn't do much to make it faster just to make it more to my taste.
I did go to the need swings dual intake but I have no proof yet it there is any improvement.

You'll be getting a notification of 11's from my car in the near future. Without nitrous. Just so you know.

I might shoot for 10's also, later in the season.

Keep in mind, I was running back-to-back 11.7's before I ever hooked up a bottle. Yes, that's only 5 tenths behind the mighty V8. And I chose to spend a grand to catch the mighty V8, instead of an extra 15 thousand dollars.

I wish I had the money for a V8, but I don't and I'm too cheap to spend it even if I had it. I jealous of Jim's monster V8! Okay, I said it!!! Are you happy now!

or did you say I'm shoot for 10's also, all with an $800 nitrous kit and a lot of know how instead of a $25,000 engine build. good luck
who spent 25000 where did this come from, or were you dreaming or just a wantabe
You know it doesn't matter what somebody spends, the crossfire was over $50,000 when it was new and there are some people here on the forum that bought brand-new and spent that 50,000.and a lot of my friends have the E55 and C63 and other Mercedes that cost over 100,000,I would never say to them my cars faster than yours and I only paid $6.99 that said. the CTS V (a freind) he paid around $75000 then he added 11000 in mods today it runs low 10. that is what he wants and likes. What I'm saying is Some people like to compare by money ,and some people just enjoy all cars.

I'm not financially endowed, so I'll have to keep it cheap.

For the record, my 9:18pm edit was before your post.

Me too, I've always wanted a 10 second daily. Once I get a forged rotator I'm going to swing for the fences.

Nice! I won't have a chance keeping up with that off the bottle, but I'll still enjoy seeing a XF kicking ***.

Nothing wrong with using a bottle lol.. I had one on my crossfire . I agree though, I still have a soft spot for the little things. I'd love to build one someday, I need to work on moving out of NY first though.

I have seen Jim's V-8 before he did, and saw that little yellow monster in the making. They look so factory it is ridiculous. I saw all 3 together at the Dragon...love them. But I like what I have and I have modded them the way I wanted. What they will run is what they will run...and we will live with it...but since this is among old drag racers, we all know anyone can win on any given day in drag racing regardless of times....so happy modding and enjoy your cars, and run what you bring.....

+1

Hopefully you can make it down South to run with Steve and I this summer. I have more fun when I don't line up against friends, but unsuspecting attendees. So if you make it down, lets focus on clowning other driver's and getting it on video.

I will tell you Anthony, when I got my clock cleaned by a Dodge 4x4 diesel, I knew then anything is possible. He ran an 11.7 to my 12 flat in the roadster. I have yet to get any times on the coupe... I will make it down...I love surprising the other cars. They usually smile at the old guy in the little sporty car...until I remove the smile....lol

LOL, I know all about the diesels. I hope you can make it down this year. I'll give you pointers on a simple 75 shot install, and those diesels will be a thing of the past - at least a few of them.

Nitrous put this diesel clown in the rear view mirror - with Steve. As for the quality of the video below, I think the camera operator was smoking crack. The problem is, the camera operator is my wife. She said it was the diesel fumes. Yeah, right....
