Default Does Lantana still get around these parts?

just wondering 'cause....there's an R171 AMG SLK55 motor that's just popped up...on ebay here in Australia about 2hrs drive north of me.
Apparently it's "low km's" and what I would consider ...not a bad price....at $12k ono

I probably wouldnt hook right into it, but always looking out for an opportunity. I'm not sure many of these come up ...can't quite tell, but the project has always been interesting.

Maybe stick it in the shed for a year or 2 ...."another project"....and keep looking for an R170 SLK320 to pop it into.....then of course I'm always on the lookout for a kleeman supercharger to wack on it as well.....

here's lantana's original post. I love how he casually opens up with....."last week we just...."
V8 R170/Crossfire conversion almost done - MBWorld.org Forums
and he makes ot all sound so ez.
