STR6 Owners Interested in an Interview for Autoweek?
Hey,
My name is Ben Keeshin. I'm working for a journalist, Brett Berk, who's looking nationally for Crossfire SRT6 owners who would like to be interviewed about their cars. Beyond being Vanity Fair's car writer, his work has appeared in Autoweek, GQ, and on the cover of Road and Track. So, if anyone would like to be interviewed (please!), then feel free to email me at bkeeshin@wesleyan.edu. It wouldn't be a huge commitment.
Thanks so much,
Ben

40 looks so far and no responses. I'm kinda surprised.
On the other hand what interest would Auto Week have in a car no longer in production and with no offspring for potential car buyers to consider?

Nostalgia, I guess.
My friend, you are so humble. While I cannot vouch for the stand up part, you too would be a good interview. Just don't tell 'em how fast you have gone in yours.
posted over here too: Any CrossCabriolet owners that would like to be interviewed for Autoweek - Topix
Perhaps it's the recent influx of "bots" on this site, but I'm a bit skeptical of the OP. Having said that, if it proves to be legit, I'd love to contribute.
All the best,
John
I went ahead and signed up to be interviewed. Talked to Brett last night for about 15 or 20 minutes. From what I understood, they are doing a piece on car "oddities" (I think is how he put it) like our SRTs - basically interesting cars that aren't made any more. The last time they did an article like this, it was on the SSR Convertible pick-up.

Sounds neat
Sweet!!
Hopefully, several others on here will do the same. The more, the better - I would think.

Cheers,
i would suggest les for his road racing knowledge and capabilities of the xfire and of course rudy for his overall knowledge of the car itself. thinking valk may be a good interview with his historical knowledge of the car
Don't forget onehundred80 - he knows everything crossfire.
( And that's NOT a pun, Dave )
latemodel21 , itsky and rmaier also come to mind.

There is a lot of info here on this forum, you just have to sort the wheat from the chaff and apply some common sense.
