Default Looking for the leak.

If you don't want to read all of it:

Will a check engine light appear for low tranny fluid?

I am always very careful checking the car, however when I got back to my garage there was a whole lot of fluid on the floor waiting for me. I bet I drove 250 miles today and never noticed anything out of the ordinary. I was wondering if it was likely the transmission o-ring that everybody seems to have problems with. it's about 49 thousand miles on the car with more than half of those in the last year and a half. No lights have come on. Doesn't seem to have a noticeable color. And leads on what to check would be appreciated.

Woody has a great tutorial on replacing the transmission connector that I think is causing this leak. The fluid is red so I'm assuming it is transmission fluid. Woody if you're reading this. Do you have the part number, and a link to the service bulletin to give to the dealership so I can have that to reference.

after doing a lot of research on the forum I was able to determine the most likely cause of the tranny leak so thank you everybody for helping out all of the time.
