Trans. Leak. Can they flash my ECU?
The dealer doesn't really have any reason to flash the ECU for a leak. They'll seal the leak up and clear any codes that might be stored, but no changes should be made to the program running in the ECU.

Bornfeld1,
May I ask how much milage you have on your Roadster and where the puddle was located under the car?
i had the same leak problem about a month ago on my 05 roadster... the tranny leak was at the middle front of the car.. took it in and got it fixed.. it was a defective o ring or gasket or something... now that other people are starting to have this problem, it looks like chrysler had a bad batch of parts...
This answer is for all and Crossfire LTD. My leak is exactly in the middle of the car, just like the other mentioned roadster leak. It was not just a small drip, but a large volume of fluid.
Bad News! I took my car in and they said the tranny seal is leaking and the part is on 2 weeks back order. I said can I drive the car and watch the fluid level? The answer was no, the leak is too bad. Beware of your tranny leak.
Bornfeld1, you got an early 2005 car. I wonder if they made any subtle but significant change between the two years. Both aforementioned problems are on '05 , roadsters. Interesting?
My roadster is a 30348 and I don't see anything under it. But I haven't taken it out in a couple weeks. I guess I should keep my eye out for fluid underneath then? Maybe this one is later enough to have a different batch of 0 rings on it.
Any other vehicles have tranny leaks?
Awww, there's a squirrel eating the berries off the bradford pear tree outside my window here.

I hope you left the shotgun in the gun rack. Squirrels have to eat too!
I was just thinking some more about this leak problem. You may be right about yours being a later one and possibly that making a difference.
There are a couple of other factors that likely would enter into this analysis. I know your car has very low miles and is now stored away. It could be that the problem vehicles are higher mileage and have been driven in the colder climate. I know with sealing, gaskets and 'o' rings, the colder climate can have a negative impact on their sealing ability. Just a thought
Those who have had the problem may want to compare notes regarding use of vehicle and mileage.

My early 05 Roadster also had a transmission leak. Took it in for service and thought all was well. A few weeks later she started acting like the transmission was slipping (automatic) and after about 2 blocks she shut down completely! They had to haul her in and it took three weeks before they were able to figure out that it was exactly what I kept trying to tell them.........the transmission. The car's computer was sending wrong messages about some other problems! What a mess! But, after they put a whole new transmission in, we drove her to Jacdsonville and back and haven't had another minutes trouble. Knock on wood! I still love that little "red-haired girl"!
I had to take my '05 in about 2 months ago for the same thing!! Took them 4 days to get the part and I had to leave it at the dealer that whole time. Luckily I was given a pretty nice rental =)
hmmmmm I have an '05 roadster also......only 3,200 miles and I've had it about 6mths....I'll be sure to keep an eye out also for any leaks in the garage. I'm still having that flash in the dash lights when the car is warmed up. one other person noticed a flick in their dash lights....anyone else?
I have build 32333 but only have 1700 on car before putting away for winter. I will certainly keep a heads up for a leak. thanks for the tip. I am assuming this is only on auto-stick. mine is a 6 speed. anyone having a problem with the 6-speed?
