It's ironic really. A Chrysler display touting an engine that Mercedes had been using for several years as if people should be impressed. Don't get me wrong, it's still impressive, both from an engineering perspective and, of course, to look at, regardless. I guess at the time it was okay to display the AMG badges as it was a symbol of the symbiosis between Daimler AG and Chrysler. Interesting pics. Thanks for sharing!

True, though I think he meant to highlight how AMG and Chrysler were not. Chrysler at the time was an arm of Mercedes, like AMG, so-to-speak.
Don't tell the AMG guys. Their noses may drop....
