my key fob would not work so i went changed the battery's Manuel in glove box so i open the door and ya the alarm went off.... tryed to open the car with the new battery's nothing... so i get my 2nd fob from my wife and hers will not work .....my dash lights go on when i put the key in to start it but nothing at all ....head lights work fine so battery in can is good ....HELP....any info would help me i have been stuck at the parking Lot for hours..

 

it's worth a shot.. disconnect your battery from the car.. give it a couple minutes.. even turn the ignition to the on position.. then turn off and reconnect the battery. Basically resetting all the electronics.

 

disconnected the pos. and nav. and the alarm is still going on????

 

there is a back up battery in the alarm module itself.

 

it finley stoped after about 2mins of no battery and still working going to rehook the battery and give your idea a shot...

 

OK car started OK but my key fob nor my wifes key fob will not work is there a way to reset a key fob i read the book that comes with the car it says hit unlock 2 times put key in the on position and it should reset but it did not.....

 

Great.. glad she started.. batteries in her fob by chance?

 

The only method I know of is what's in the manual.

ya that was funny stuff no battery and it was still going.......tryed to reset key fobs no luck im going to drive this can home now ...thank you for your idea and i guss i check in on wed. to see if anyone knows how to reset keyfobs....whats in their book does not work...have a good nit ya all this web site has helped me so meny times i wish i could take you all out for a beer and say thank you....
