I have a carrier coming from a forum member but will need an axle to put her back together.
I need a left rear axle for my srt6
The listing says 04 but this looks like a slip in 05 and up right???
Any Idea where else to get an axle at a fair price in a reasonable time?

Cardone (a parts supplier I use)
Has a listing for 06 srt axle
Maybe I'll see if it's in stock and match it up.
I assume it's rebuilt as my cost is only like $90

 

Rebuilt is better than a used one that you have no idea of the miles on it. I'd get the other side at that price.
I have had trouble with Cardone, they swear they have the right part even when it does not fit and does not look like the part it's replacing. Their computer is right and you are wrong. They will take the part back but it is a bit frustrating all the same.

 

Cardone does not have any cores in stock.
They list a specific srt part.
I have a used axle and carrier on its way.
It will be nice to put her back together.
If I continue to break rears I may have it reprogrammed to use 3.27 so I can find replacements easier.

 

Today is the day to put my carrier and axle in.
I'll let you know how it goes.
It will be good to drive the 6 again.

Yes. Washer fluid. Lol
Yes it took about 1.4 qt

 

FYI, it will run much cooler with the methanol washer fluid.

 

just watch out that grip isn't standing up behind you as you are trying to sit down!
