I got the one with two solenoids and digital far gauge. Trying to get the instructions for that.

Sparkie I am experiencing a similar issue after installing a 62mm karma pulley. I also have a NW CAI and have removed all cats and resonator. So I have a couple of questions hopefully you can help me out with if you don't mind.
1) Are you still using the stock fuel pump to achieve the 58+ psi?
2) Have you run it to the same rmp in 4th gear as you did in 3rd when your car started leaning out after you made the pressure changes? Thank you in advance for you time and effort.

1) No....SL55 pump with unregulated filter.

2) Yes. But I was on a Dyno each time to monitor the AFR's. Once I boosted the pressure to 68psi my AFR's were good.

Hope that helps. Needswings has the pump, filter and regulator.

If I install a high flow Mann fuel filter and an aem fuel reg with the stock pump is it possible to reach 60+ psi. Thanks in advanced for any help in trying to resolve my leaning issue.

Getting frustrated. I cant get my AEM AFR dialed in 14.7 cruising. I am reading 15.2 in 5th gear. I finally got a new o2 sensor. I have changed pressure to 68 from 65 and still cant achieve the 14.7. WOT have not because I dont want to mess anything up. I can to dial in so I can WOT. Im tired of driving like grandma. I LOVE SPEED!!!

Dear all,
Thank you for this post which is very interesting.

It seems I have a problem which the setting of my AEM regulator.
I have set the regulator at 58psi at IDLE AND with a cold engine. When my engine is hot, the pressure goes to 50psi (I can read this with the underhood rail gauge).
If I start the car again (hot engine), the gauge indicates also 50psi.
If I put the ignition on without starting the car, pressure also indicates 50psi.

I have a slk 32amg and I run with a 255 walbro fuel pump with check valve.

Have you also notice that? Is it normal? What is the real pressure (50psi or 58psi)?
Do you read the same pressure at cold and warn engine ?

Thanks for your help.

In closed loop, the fuel pressure doesn't matter. The ME is going to adjust fuel trims to accomplish the set AFR in the closed loop fuel map. There is nothing wrong with a 15.2:1 AFR at cruise. If you log LTFT's, you will see how much fuel is being pulled at that RPM and load range to accomplish the target AFR.

Does anyone, other than me, run rising rate fuel pressure?

I am not sure I ever installed an unregulated filter....surely I did, or I wouldn't be running the times I am running... I guess I need to look under there...

You did install the unregulated filter?

hey all

guess I'll give this thread a second life with my questions )) I have never played with fuel mods much, so I need your advices, I've put on stacked pulleys 180/65mm and going too lean, at the peak rpm-s in 3rd gear I saw 17.3 ))) the engine's OK though))

its obvious I need fuel mods,. I'm considering buying a fuel pump about 250-300 lph and don't exactly know if I'll need the regulator also. I tested pressure while idle, in the rail-fuel pressure is 59 psi, I have not drive tested it yet, my questions are: 1)should the pressure be same while cruising? wot? will the pressure in the fuel rail fall, when I install bigger fuel pump?
