Default 61mm supercharged pulley Machine down

Has anyone machined down a 61mm pulley ? And had good results.. Would love to hear some opinions about this ? Thinking of doing it wondering what kind of boost It would make

First of all, you wouldn't want to try and machine down a 61mm or 62mm supercharger pulley as they are already designed / manufactured having the minimum amount of metal and bearing to be reasonably safe and functional.

Secondly, the 61mm / 62mm pulley mod pretty much creates the realistic limit of additional boost and the installation of those pulleys already require additional extensive modification to the fuel system to provide additional fuel supporting that increased boost.

Franky, if I had it to do over again I would just install a 65mm pulley and be happy. I'm not chasing 10ths of a second at the drag strip and would have undoubtedly been satisfied with the increased performance the 65mm pulley mod provides. Just saying . . .

Understand that fully but I am chasing horsepower and tenths of a sec. At the drag strip so to me it's worth the upgrades I'm already 3k deep in my engine anyways at the min so what's a little more lol...I have 65mm euro charged pulley , needswins dcai , needswings big aluminum intake manifolds and a euro charged aggressive tune very happy with the performance but would love. More

I don't know yet . . . still trying to get the fuel system sorted out. I have a triple gauge A pillar pod to install and those gauges will monitor everything and give me that data. I kind of got sidetracked restoring / refurbishing two other SRT6 Crossfires so my #1 SRT6 has been on the sidelines for awhile.

I see your point, but there isn't enough material to machine down the 61 and be safe, thus the added crank pulley boostmonkey used. I am really surprise he was able to push the limits of the supercharger a little further. But I think in the long run, this will hurry up it's life expectancy. I like to drive my cars too much to play with those limits. But he did do a great job with fuel system and all.
